Growth of software industry in India as a result of cooperation and collaboration in technology with other developed countries

Abstract
This paper looks into the capability building in software companies through
their international cooperation and collaboration in technology. Over
the years India has developed software industry up to some extent, but
could not catch up advances in hardware technology because of the weak
component industrial base. The study tries to find out causes of failure
in the development of hardware industry. At firm level how Indian software
industry could grow fast over the last couple of years as a result of
cooperation and collaboration with the developed countries. What further
policy measures India should take to develop capability building in software
so that she could compete with other Newly industrialized countries like
Korea China and Taiwan.
